Fraud Alert
Late 2024 Update: We are aware of recent notifications regarding threats of cyberattacks potentially targeting ATM devices and online portals. Parky City follows the highest industry recommendations to protect against these potential threats.
Customers are never responsible for any losses incurred due to unauthorized activity that they report to their financial institution in a timely manner. As a best practice, we encourage all customers to review account activity regularly through our online banking.

Protecting Your Business Against Email Compromises
Business Email Compromise (BEC) is a sophisticated scam targeting businesses working with foreign suppliers and/or businesses that regularly perform wire transfer payments. The scam is carried out by compromising legitimate business email accounts through social engineering.
Unless fraudulent activity is discovered and reported within 24 hours, the chances of recovery are low. We recommend educating and training employees on all forms of cyberattacks, as well as asking them to use caution when sharing personal information on social media sites.
Common Methods of Attack
Phishing
Emails sent to many contacts simultaneously to "fish" sensitive information; hackers pose as reputable sources like banks or law enforcement.
Spear Phishing
A more targeted form of phishing where the cybercriminal has studied up on the group or individual to con users.
Executive Whaling
Targeting top executives to pull money from accounts or steal confidential data using detailed personal info.
Social Engineering
The manipulation of people to trick them into divulging confidential information or providing access to funds.
